Is your skin dry or oily? Tried to drink water but do you want something else to keep it smooth and healthy?

Worry not. The Pan Afrikanist has you covered after an insightful trip to a local manufacturing skincare company where it interviewed Miss Didintle Moreki about her business.

Organic Naturals Skincare started operating in 2019 but was conceived as early as 2016 by Didintle whose innovation started with her battle with a skin condition known as acne.

Didintle says that her company exists to empower African women and men. It uses indigenous plants such as Moringa and mowana (baobab).

Moringa offers an organic, skin retaining product to their end-users. The Organic Naturals Skincare products are considered natural and organic. They are harvested by female farmers that reside in the northern part of Botswana.

The product line consists of four products with different types such as bar soaps, clay masks, serum, and toners.

Bar soaps: Rooibos and papaya bar soap, Activated charcoal and moringa, Neem and green tea bar soap, Tumeric and carrot bar soap.

Toners: Wild Rose Facial Toner

Clay Masks: Moringa Clay Mask and Tumeric Clay Mask.

Serum: Mowana and Morula serum

Didintle raves that people love their products and that she has received positive feedback from mist of her clients.

Organic Naturals Skincare also runs a public awareness campaign through which they regularly visit stores that sell their merchandise to educate customers.

This has made it easy for clients to not only know but also appreciate the company’s products as well as their benefits.

Didintle is proud of some of the company’s milestones and achievements since its inception.

In March 2019 they were selected as Stanford School of Business Cohort under the Go-To-Market program with DeBeers Botswana.

In May 2019 the company was selected to represent Botswana in Uganda under the theme; ‘Sustainable Social Enterprise’

Didintle says in August 2019 they launched an additional line of luxurious skincare products while in

November the same year, they made it as First Cohort of Botswana Innovation Hub’s Accelerator Programme.

They were also a second runner-up in the Global Expo Battlefield.

Didintle explains that she chose skincare after a personal struggle which not only bruised her skin but her confidence as well.

“Therefore, I decided to create skincare products that work best under the African hot weather”, Didintle said.
