Free Russian language courses by St Petersburg University

We are pleased to inform you that the Center for Open Education by St Petersburg University opens its doors to the residents of the Republic of Botswana!

The St Petersburg University Center will function with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the “My History” Foundation for the Support of the Humanities. 

St Petersburg University is one of the biggest scientific and educational centers in Russia. This year, it celebrated its 300th anniversary! In the year 2024, highly qualified teachers from the University, utilizing their extensive theoretical and practical expertise, have devised six programs aimed at acquiring proficiency in Russian as a foreign language for beginners. The classes will be conducted in a face-to-face format!

If you have long been interested in starting to study the Russian language for educational, professional, or personal enrichment, we are pleased to invite you to our free of charge courses. Participants will also learn how to enter a Russian university! 

The study of the Russian language presents an excellent prospect for enhancing one’s competitiveness in the labor market, as well as a promising prospect for those who aspire to pursue higher education in Russia in the future.
