  • To eliminate any barriers travelers may face in securing reliable telecommunications service

Orange Botswana has taken a significant step in enhancing customer accessibility by launching a new service shop at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (SSKIA). This expansion is part of the company’s ongoing mission to provide travellers with seamless connectivity and convenience from the moment they arrive in Botswana.

Speaking at the launch, Orange Botswana CEO Nene Maiga highlighted the importance of this strategic move in ensuring that customers can stay connected without hassle.

“We’re not just opening a shop; we’re extending a warm welcome to every new visitor, tourist, and business traveler arriving in our beautiful country. Our goal is to eliminate any barriers travellers may face in securing reliable telecommunications services,” Maiga stated.

The newly launched shop will offer a range of essential services, including e-SIM activation, SIM swap and registration, Orange Money transactions, fixed and mobile data and device sales. The shop will operate from 6 AM to 10 PM daily, ensuring that travelers arriving at any time of day can access Orange Botswana’s services with ease.

“Our presence here ensures that the moment you arrive in Botswana, you have immediate access to our trusted network. No delays. No inconvenience. Just seamless connectivity on the go,” Maiga emphasized.

This initiative underscores Orange Botswana’s commitment to customer-first service delivery, reinforcing its position as the number one telecommunications provider in the country. With Botswana’s largest airport serving as a critical entry point, the company’s decision to open a shop at SSKIA aligns with its broader strategy to enhance accessibility and digital transformation.

“Our visitors and returning citizens deserve the smoothest connectivity experience from the moment they land. Whether for tourists needing immediate internet access, business travelers requiring a fast connection, or families looking to stay in touch, Orange Botswana is here to make that happen,” Maiga added.

The shop’s success will be measured through customer footprint and engagement, reflecting the company’s ability to meet demand efficiently. Orange Botswana remains dedicated to driving the country’s digital future by continuously expanding its infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of consumers.

As Orange Botswana continues to innovate and expand, the launch of the new airport shop serves as another milestone in its journey to keep Botswana connected, anytime and anywhere.
