Orange Botswana has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to sports development with a P150,000 sponsorship to the Botswana senior men’s national football team, the Zebras, as they prepare for the Total Energies CAF AFCON Morocco 2025.

The sponsorship comes as the team intensifies its preparations ahead of a challenging Group D campaign, where Botswana will face Senegal on December 23, Benin on December 27, and wrap up the group stage against DR Congo on December 30.

Speaking at the sponsorship handover, Orange Botswana Communications and PR Manager, Tebogo Nadisah, reaffirmed the company’s long-standing passion for uplifting Botswana’s sporting talent and driving the growth of local football.

This latest sponsorship adds to Orange Botswana’s strong legacy in local sports development. The telecommunications leader is the proud title sponsor of the Total Energies CAF AFCON Morocco 2025, one of Botswana’s most celebrated football tournaments that provides opportunities for teams across divisions. In 2024, Orange also supported Team Botswana during their Olympic campaign.

Nadisah further emphasized that Orange Botswana’s involvement in sports extends beyond financial contribution; it is rooted in a deep belief in community empowerment and national unity.
