Sputnik International News Media continues a series of master classes for media from Gaborone as part of the SputnikPro project.

Vasily Pushkov, Sputnik’s Director for International Cooperation, met with correspondents of leading Botswana media.

The event on the future of the global media industry was held with the support of the Russian Embassy in Botswana.

Press attaché in Botswana Alexei Nesterov thanked the Sputnik team for organizing the seminar and expressed hope that meetings in such a format will become a good tradition and will help strengthen relations between Russian and Botswana media.

“It is nice to know that our colleagues on the other side of the planet want to receive more information about Russia than we are always ready to share,” Vasily Pushkov said at the end of the event.
