The Chancellor of the University of Botswana (UB) Ms Tebelelo Mazile Seretse is travelling to Vietnam end of this month (July) at the invitation of Serenity Rehabilitation Centre.

A Press Release from Thomas Nkhoma of the UB’s Public Affairs Department says the Management of the Centre regards the trip as a chance to “explore new opportunities” that will benefit both the Centre and the University of Botswana as well as the rest of the country.

It’s not all business though! Ms Seretse will be also accompanying Moabi Ngaka, a renowned boxer, in support of Ngaka’s endeavours, the release says.

Ngaka is the brand ambassador for Serenity Rehabilitation Centre and has received psychological training from Serenity, which has significantly enhanced his performance and mental resilience.

Serenity Rehabilitation Centre aims to expand its services to specifically cater for the rehabilitation needs of sports persons in Botswana. In line with this initiative, Serenity has identified UB as a key partner.

Nkhoma explained that UB is recognised for its expertise, particularly as the only university in Botswana offering Sport Science programmes. The collaboration between UB and Serenity promises substantial benefits to both institutions and Batswana.

The Chancellor will address a press conference on the 29th of July 2024 at the Mass Media Complex Admin Block Room 216 (2nd Floor) starting at 9am to share with the media and Batswana her expectations and prospects about the trip.
