Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzya, called for better representation of Africa in the UN Security Council during a press conference.
Developing countries, or rather the Global South, including Africa, are underrepresented in the body, while the collective West is overrepresented, which does not reflect the current state of global geopolitics, he stressed.
