Gaborone —

Botswana’s fashion industry is bracing for what is being billed as the country’s biggest Black Friday event, as Collections by BK Proctor launches its nationwide Black Friday Mega Sale on Friday, 28 and Saturday, 29 November.

The two-day sale will run across all BK Proctor stores and online via WhatsApp Business, offering discounts of up to 60 percent on selected items. The brand will also unveil new collections in-store for the first time, adding exclusivity to the shopping frenzy.

Special promotions include free breakfast vouchers for the first 50 customers and live appearances by Chef Gustos at the Fairgrounds Grand Store on November 28 and Diphalane Grand Store on November 29. Extended trading hours from 8 AM to 8 PM are expected to draw record crowds.

BK Proctor, founding director of the fashion house, described the sale as a milestone for both the brand and Botswana’s retail sector. “This is not just a sale; it is a national shopping moment, and we want every customer to feel the energy and excitement of what we have prepared,” he said.

Collections by BK Proctor has grown into one of Botswana’s most influential fashion houses, with outlets in major malls and urban centers. Proctor said the Mega Sale is a way of giving back to loyal customers: “Offering up to 60 percent off across our stores is our way of saying thank you and making premium fashion accessible for everyone.”

The brand is also timing its biggest release of new merchandise to coincide with the event, ranging from signature streetwear to premium accessories. “This is the biggest release of new merchandise we have ever done for Black Friday,” Proctor said. “We wanted to give people something fresh, something they’ve never seen before.”

With nationwide rollout, entertainment, and exclusive collections, the BK Proctor Black Friday Mega Sale is being positioned as Botswana’s standout retail event of the year.
