Chinese Ambassador-designate to Botswana, H.E. Wang Xuefeng arrived

Botswana's President Mokgweetsi Masisi (R) meets with visiting Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Gaborone, Botswana, Jan. 7, 2021.

Chinese Ambassador-designate to Botswana H.E. Wang Xuefeng and his wife Mme. Tong Xin arrived in Gaborone on the morning of 8th April 2021.

Ambassador Wang said that he is very happy to be the Ambassador to the friendly country of Botswana.

China and Botswana have always been good friends, partners, and brothers, with fruitful cooperation in various fields. The two countries have worked hand in hand in the fight against COVID-19.

As the new Chinese Ambassador to Botswana, he looks forward to working with people from all walks of life in Botswana for greater development of China-Botswana relations.

Ambassador Wang succeeds H.E. Dr. Zhao Yanbo who left early this year at the end of his successful term.
