FNB Botswana has been recognised with two prestigious accolades at the 2026 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, reaffirming its position as one of the country’s leading financial institutions.

The bank was named Botswana’s Best Bank 2026 and Botswana’s Best Bank for ESG 2026.

The Euromoney Awards are among the most respected in the global banking industry, celebrating institutions that demonstrate leadership, innovation, resilience, and outstanding performance.

This recognition comes as FNB Botswana marks 35 years of “Help in Botswana,” a legacy built on delivering relevant financial solutions, enabling opportunities, and creating lasting value for clients, businesses, and communities.

FNB Botswana CEO, Steven Lefentse Bogatsu, said the awards reflect the trust clients place in the bank and the dedication of its employees.

“Being recognised as Botswana’s Best Bank is a tremendous honour. As we celebrate 35 years of serving Botswana, this award affirms our commitment to delivering help that is meaningful, relevant, and impactful,” he said.

The ESG award highlights the bank’s leadership in environmental, social, and governance practices, acknowledging its efforts to champion financial inclusion, environmental stewardship, responsible governance, and community development.

Bogatsu added: “The award for Botswana’s Best Bank for ESG validates our belief that business success and positive societal impact go hand in hand. This recognition encourages us to continue creating meaningful impact for future generations.”

As FNB Botswana celebrates these achievements, the bank says it remains focused on extending its legacy of help, supporting the aspirations of individuals and businesses, and contributing to Botswana’s long-term economic growth and prosperity.
