Russian president's adviser Anton Kobyakov

“The development of partnership relations between Russia and African states is one of the priorities of our country’s leadership today,” Russian president’s adviser Anton Kobyakov said at the meeting with chairman of the Coordinating Committee for Economic Cooperation with African Countries (AFROCOM) Igor Morozov to sum up the results of the work on the Russia-Africa forum track in 2024 and to outline plans for 2025.

Russia is open to dialogue with the countries of the African continent in all directions, and joint work within the framework of business events in Russia and Africa will strengthen relations, noted Kobyakov, who is also an executive secretary of the organizing committee for the events of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum.

“In 2025, Russia and African countries will continue to work together on the forum track. The events held with the participation of our partners from the African continent have shown their relevance and effectiveness for establishing business ties and developing joint economic, social and cultural projects,” AFROCOM’S chairperson Morozov pointed out.
